At Wild Florrie, we take great care to create bouquets that reflect our signature style - natural, elegant, and thoughtfully arranged. From time to time, due to seasonal changes or wholesaler availability, we may need to substitute certain stems.

Of course! Here are five fresh flower care tips to help your bouquets last longer:

 

1. Trim the Stems – Cut 1-2 cm off the stems at a 45-degree angle before placing them in water. This increases surface area for water absorption and prevents stems from sitting flat at the bottom of the vase.

2. Change the Water Regularly – Replace the water every 2-3 days to keep it fresh and prevent bacteria growth. If possible, clean the vase each time to remove any residue.

3. Remove Any Submerged Leaves – Leaves sitting in water can cause bacteria to multiply quickly, shortening the lifespan of your flowers. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.

4. Keep Them in a Cool Spot – Flowers last longer when kept away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. A cool room with indirect light is ideal.

5. Mist Your Flowers – Lightly spritz your flowers with water every day, especially delicate blooms like roses and hydrangeas. This helps keep petals hydrated and looking fresh for longer.
